Nothing like a little Sugar 'n Cream in the summer

dishcloths2.jpg

Just lost my eloquent and well-thought out post, but I'm too tired to go through it all again. Here are the Cliffnotes:

Here are my dishcloths #2 and #3, made for my boyfriend's mom after I met her a couple weeks ago. (I finished them a while back and even took the picture but forgot to post). What mom wouldn't love some bright dishcloths, I thought. They seem to have been a hit. Haven't done much knitting as we went to Hong Kong (to deliver the dishcloths, among other things), and now am completely and totally exhausted from travel, extensive goodbye partying and stressing about the fact that I will probably have to move sometime in the next few weeks (long story). Instead of going on about it, or picking up my beloved dishcloth #4 (boy, they're fun, did I mention that?), I'm calling it a night.

That is all.

These are so darn cute! I haven't made any yet, but when I do, I am sure I will look forward to doing the dishes :)

What sharp color combos!
Keep us posted on your move status, when you get a chance. I'll do the same. ;-)

Those look great! I've been meaning to try that pattern.

You have to move?! What a pain. I hope you don't have to find the place yourself. I had to do that in Tokyo once and no one wanted to rent to a foreigner. It was a very frustrating experience! Good luck with the move.

I love these patterns - and colors -

I have a lot of the same yarns too - I made socks form them :)

not the easiest sock yarn to do - but tough and will last for hubby's feet--

now i need to make these dishcloths too :)

I really need to buy that Mason Dixon book! I remember those dishclothes from when you first got the book and thought they were great!! You used fantastic colours! Hmmm....perhaps I should buy the book for myself as an early Christmas present so that I can use the patterns to make other Christmas presents....
