Happy, happy, buzz, buzz

Kelly and Mariko (doing "the Molly" pose).

On Monday, Anjali and I had the great pleasure of meeting Mariko and Kelly of Superbuzzy fame for dinner in Nagoya. It was so fun to finally meet all of them! I thought it was kind of eerie that Mariko and I had the same print bag (Kelly had the one that i covet) and that Anjali and I had the very same lime green phone! Everyone was even more genuine and easy to get along with in real life than I had imagined. The only letdown was that my poor mom couldn't be there (next time!). They were in and out of Nagoya pretty fast, but I guess such is the life of international businesswomen. I must have had so much fun that night that for the first time, I conked out on the train ride home and had to be shaken awake by the train conductor when it got to the final stop. Thank goodness my station was the terminus or I would have been in trouble!

Even writing it doesn't make it feel very real, but believe it or not, I'll be stateside one week from now (!!!) and I have tons of non-knitting things to get done before I leave. I'm thinking that yarn store hopping combined with some domestic travel, holiday downtime and one whoooole week at home with my mom and pops will give me the time I need to relax and get back into the swing of knitting again. After all, even I have holiday gift ideas swirling in my head. Just have to finish that baby sweater first...

We'll also be in the US in 9 days and counting and I CANNOT wait!!!! I'm going to eat everything in my path - ha!!! The Superbuzzy gals are fun, huh!!!!

I'd say Mariko has that pose down pat!

I didn't realize that you're heading home. I'm sure you and your mom are really excited.

chicago is NOT VERY FAR from where you will be during that whooooole week at home with mom and pop.

i miss mariko! she looks so cute there!

Oooh! Hope you have a fantastic time when you're back. You can finish the sweater on the plane.

Huh, what does Kelly's shirt say?

although i won't get to see you, for some reason just knowing that you'll be on the same continent as me, makes me smile. have a fabulous time! miss you!

enjoy Hoosierland with the family!! If you make it to Chi town come up to the 6th floor of the Mart(Hinson) and say hey!!

ummm, well that's some sort of look on my face, that's for sure! it was sooooo great to see you in person - I had a great time too! If only we could have these bloggy meet-ups more often...
