Par for the course

What's with all the comment spam lately!? Am I the only one that is getting totally bombarded with this stuff? Getting all these trash messages is making me really sour! I am going to need to get my blog in better shape if I ever want to get into a good routine again.

Next weekend I am going to see my Trellis #2 gift recipient so this week is the final haul to finish up. One cardigan front to go! Then my blog will be back to it's regularly scheduled programming.

On a totally unrelated note, this weekend I got a t-shirt that has a cartoon of a toaster shooting out a piece of bread and it says, "I can't stand it!" It makes me very happy.

Excuses, excuses

The amount of knitting I've done recently (none) makes me feel slightly ill. I have this baby sweater that needs to be done last month so I haven't been letting myself knit anything else, but this lull just HAS to end. The other night I dreamt of some nice sock yarn and starting a just-challenging-enough pattern that was totally delightful. I think it's a sign! I'm super busy and have no time for knitting, but don't get me wrong, I'm having the time of my life over here. I've just got to work out a way to fit in the knitting!

This weekend is a new local SnB with a lot of newbies who are keen on knitting (yay!). I'm really looking forward to hanging out with other knitters and just having a chunk of time devoted soley to knitting. Yahoo!

I'm here, I'm not, I'm here, I'm not

I'm surprised that not even my mom figured this one out--it's an anagram of my first and last name. Super dorks, I know. We really should have placed.

I survived the trip last weekend and actually had fun driving the biggest van I've ever seen. Now I'm getting ready to go to Hong Kong on Friday for a long weekend. Any yarn shops/crafty adventures that I can't miss? At least I'll have a chance to sit down and have a break on the ferry to the airport and the airplane. Maybe I can even make some progress on my Trellis. Here's to hoping! Really looking forward to the long, cold winter...
