Had a bad day?
Today I found a hole in my sock in the middle of the closing ceremony for this school year. Considering that the teachers were just standing around in their socks, I was kind of embarrassed. Spent a lot of the time trying to hide it under my (luckily!) long pant leg. Ended up taking things into my own hands when I got home though and managed to turn everything around. I know, another crazy Friday night!

ew, I hate sock holes (especially in the toe.) Cute socks though! and your Jaywalker looks fab. I think if you block it a little, it won't be quite as tight.

I like your socks - they look cozy. And the mini-clapotis is pretty. I saw Silk Garden Light (sounds like a perfume, no?) somewhere online and am wondering if it is the same as your SG laceweight? I made a clapotis in Noro Lily and it is perfect for spring - yours looks like it will be too!

I received my candy about a 1/2 hour ago! I can't open any of it because I just want to stare at the cool packaging!!! Seriously, I will be eating some very soon.

Your Jaywalkers are turning out really cute! I, too, was struggling with the wrong king of yarn for the pattern (see my blog ), but didn't have anything else in my stash to resort to. I'm too stubborn to just start over with another pattern, so I ended up changing the pattern quite a bit... :)
