Inspiration!
I finally got this in the mail in a great box from my mom yesterday. There are so many things that I want to knit, primarily this:
Hourglass Sweater!!
and these
I want some of these right NOW!
I am debating the choice of Cash Iroha for the Hourglass Sweater. I WILL make this, it's just a matter of when and with what.
The box was also full of snacks and VIDEOS! Yes, two full videos of 24 that I have yet to break into, and a tape of NYPD Blue that I watched last night. Tomorrow night I'm off to the R.E.M. concert and then my big work week will be extended all the way through Sunday afternoon since I have to work both weekend days.
Luckily, Monday is a holiday and I might have some knitting time in the car on our way to the concert tomorrow. Otherwise, I think I would be feeling a little overwhelmed. No more time for this nonsense--I'm off to watch 24. Just 1 episode before bed, really. Ok no, let's be realistic. Maybe 2 or 3.

I love that book... I have been eyeing that sweater too!

Have a great time at the concert!
I'm très jeolous but looking forward to your post-concert post.
PS: I just started watching 24 here in France by renting the dvd's. Isn't it fun to watch? Only bad part is having to watch a whole 24 HOURS of television to see how it finally ends!

Speaking of inspiration, it was you who inspired me to try the Stellina shawl. I finally am done with school (graduate with my MPA in May!!) and I pulled out my package of Morehouse Merino Lace in Aubergine (or whatever it was that they are calling the purple).
I've been meaning to post for ages, but I hadn't gotten around to it, and this seemed like a perfect post!

Those are the SAME two patterns that caught my eye. Of course, there are others, but I think that these are my favorite too. Lovely book!
Enjoy your weekend!:)

24 is like a drug. I finally started renting the DVDs of the seasons I missed and found myself one day (in bed with a cold, but still...) watching 5 episodes in a row. Not normal!
