One down, how many to go?
I'm not ill OR on drugs, don't worry. Just stayed up all night and slept all day. This picture looks ridiculous but it's the best one I had.
Here is the finished scarf that I am giving to my good friend at school tomorrow. I think it turned out much nicer than the first one I made, because I realized that I was doing the lace pattern wrong. Today I got the most thoughtful card and gift from her so I'm happy that I have something handmade to give her tomorrow. I hope that she likes it!
Now I just need to make one more of these, a ribbed scarf, and a few flowers before I head to visit family friends for New Year's. I can do it--if only because I want to get back to my capelet, cable sweater, gloves, hat, and soooo on.

That does it! I'm casting on for one of those scarves tonight. (...during the action movie fest we're having here. I'm getting outvoted since you are away!!)
